VI were kind enough to give us a reference graphic file with the old icons in for the spellbook and buff icons but no equivalent for the spell gems. I've taken the file and created a gem icon reference file from it which is included in the zip file.
If you want to make your own changes it should now just require a simple cut and paste operation in a decent graphics editor.
